About Dr. Lane Smith of Smith Plastic Surgery

Dr. Lane Smith is the eldest son of a psychiatric physician. Early on in his education, he became very focused on his goal of becoming a physician himself, prompting him to graduate high school early and complete college at the young age of eighteen. He then spent two years working for his church before entering the University of Utah medical school at age twenty, where he graduated top of his class.

Once Dr. Lane Smith finished his medical residency in Texas, he was accepted into the Facial Plastic Fellowship at Stanford University. During his time there, he also served as an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery. At the end of this fellowship, he was awarded the Jack Anderson Award by the American Board of Facial Plastic Surgery.

After a short time running his own practice, he returned to school – to the Mayo Clinic, to do a fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Finally, with his second fellowship behind him, Dr. Lane Smith set up his own practice – Smith Plastic Surgery in Las Vegas.

His office is an accredited facility boasting state-of-the-art technology and a highly qualified team of professionals. The practice’s accreditation was received through the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, also known as the AAAASF. In addition to traditional training, Dr. Lane Smith’s surgical team members are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, providing peace of mind from being in good hands.
